Phil and Theresa are getting married this Memorial day weekend in New York! We took the 6:40 flight this morning on Friday. The wedding reception is on Saturday night. May's husband Anthony could not come because of the swine flu. They don't want to bring their baby, so Anthony has to stay behind and only May comes. Anthony worries about May catching swine flu, so she has to wear the mask at all time.

Phil和Theresa這個周末在紐約結婚! 我們星期五坐一早的班機到紐約 婚禮是星期六晚上 May的先生不能去因為H1N1他們怕他們的小寶寶受感染 所以Anthony留在家帶孩子 May單獨來 Anthony怕May受感染 所以囑咐她一定隨時戴上口罩

We arrived! We are calling the hotel for shuttle bus.

We are staying in Sheraton in Flushing which is the newest NY chinatown.

After we put the luggage down, we immediately checked out the bakery around the hotel. Theresa and Phil had gift certificate of this bakery for every guest in town.

我們把行李放下後立刻到附近的麵包店看看 Theresa和Phil給所有婚禮的客人這家麵包店禮卷

雖然我們在機上已吃過早餐了 但是看到新鮮的點心還是忍不住又吃了一頓 這家的燒賣真好吃 我們三人很愛吃 所以這趟旅行是美食之旅

Although we already ate breakfast on the airplane, we still cannot help ourselves but get dim sum in one of the bakeries. Three of us love to eat, so we are going to make this an eating trip.

After breakfast, we took subway to NY downtown and look around. Our destination is Chinatown which we will have lunch.

這家店專賣用米做的布丁 有好多種口味 我們點了桃子和傳統口味 看起來有點噁心 但出乎意料的好吃

This store sell rice pudding. There are so many flavors. We ordered peach and traditional. It looks a little bit gross, but it was really good.

We decided to have lunch at this Singapore cafe.

This is satay chicken dipping in the peanut sauce...yummy

This is prawn shrimp noodle soup. The soup base is using shrimp head to cook.

At night we met up with other Hyland people and May's relatives. We had dinner here.

晚上和其他參加婚禮的同事還有May的親戚吃飯

The food was amazing especially this fish.

所有的菜都非常好吃 特別是這條紅燒魚

This is fried tofu and tofu salad. Both are really good.

這是炸豆腐和豆腐沙拉 兩樣都很特別而且好吃

上方那一盤是炸蝦加了炸洋囪去調味 蝦子好大一條好好吃 下面那一盤是青木瓜沙拉

The one in the upper conner is fried shrimp with fried onion. The shrimp is huge and it is so good. The bottom one is papaya salad.
