The second day Phil and Theresa drove us to New York city. From their house to New York city is less than an hour (this is without traffic) which is awesome! Xiao-pang is following them fiercely

We are in the old China Town area and heading to a Chinese restaurant for dim sum.

There were a ton of people here. I was thinking that these many people, this place must be awesome. But Phil and Theresa told me that on the weekend, it is always this packed anywhere in China Town. But they did say this is good.

We had to share the table with another two people since we only had four people. But it is pretty common in a Chinese restaurant, so you don't really feel weird. And the food was so good, we don't really care. For all I know even we are sitting on each other's laps, I would not care.

This is fried taro with pork inside.

Afterwards we headed to the beef jerkey store to pick up our order. A new hotel is opening on the street.

This whole street is full of funeral home.

And the beef jerkey store is in between...mmm...don't know what to think of it.

We love this store's beef jerkey and it is not cheap. It is about 10 dollars a pound and I can finish two pounds in a week without xiao-pang's help.

Head to the Chinese ice cream store.

They have some pretty unique flavors such as lychee flavor ice cream.

The lychee one tastes like you are eating the real fruit.

We did not get the chance to eat at this noodle shop. But from Phil describe, this is a place I definitely want to hit next time I come back.

hahaha....the guys always have to find the most offensive pictures. Phil's face is even better than the picture.

Next we headed to the seaport.

I took this picture for my nephew; he loves almo. I wish he is here.

This is a three store mall...It is quite impressive.

We headed to the roof

We passed some seafood stand. Man...if I live in NY, I will eat seafood everyday.

Headed to Doughnut Plant.

We are all so full, so we only got a donut to share between two people. Their have all kinds of special flavor donut. We got a mango flavor one.

Passed a fair.

Xiao-pang tried the passion fruit popsickle. I don't know how the heck by now he could still eat???
