Steve has heard people talking about this Jerky place opening and wanted to check it out. We both miss the beef jerky Phil and Theresa brought us from NY Chinatown.

小胖聽說有一家賣肉乾的地方所以我們去看看因為我們在紐澤西的好友每次來看我們時都會從紐約市中國城帶牛肉乾給我們好吃的不得了所以我們想找找在這裡有沒有好吃的牛肉乾

There are a lot of selections...both sausage and jerky, beef and turkey.

We decided to get Cherry Maple Turkey Jerky and Teriyaki beef slab.

我們決定選楓糖火雞肉乾還有牛肉片

Of course xiao-pang cannot wait to taste the slab once we bought it. There is a piece of meat in his mouth.

It is good but still not as good as the Chinese beef jerky!

This is the Cherry Maple Turkey Jerky

I found a Cajun Chicken pasta receipt online and decide to give it a try. It was good and this time I substitue chicken for shrimp and tilapia. First, you sprinkle cajun seasoning on it.

我在網上找到一個意大力麵食譜我第一次煮是用雞肉這次換蝦跟魚先灑上這個Cajun Seasoning調味

Cut up two red pepper.

兩個紅椒切細條

Onion is optional, but we both love onions, so I put in there.

洋囪是我自己加的因為我跟小胖都愛洋囪

Melt two teaspoons of butter.

先融化兩匙奶油

Stir in the shrimp and tilapia.

加蝦跟魚

Add in red pepper, mushroom and onion.

加紅椒還有洋囪香菇

It calls for one and one half cup of heavy cream, but I used only one half cup of heavy cream and one cup of chicken broth instead. It is to be more health conscious and it is still good.
